Review: The second best in the series, even if we are deprived of a fighting scene yet again.

This time, Bella is stalling her choice for the whole book, thinking she can get away with clinging to two men who hate each other. (Sure Bella!)

In Eclipse, I learned that Stephenie can't write fight scenes.  The 'EPIC' fight with Victoria was pretty much this:
Victoria lunges at Edward from multiple angles and Edward dodges all of them with a single step.  Now this goes on for another 500 times (5 minutes) and finally Edward gets bored, tears her to pieces and burns her.
The only different thing is that Stephenie adds in a ton of adjectives and unnecessary suspense and foreshadowing.

Although I will admit I did enjoy the little 'talk' between Edward and Jacob.  I thought they'd finally get over their differences, but I guess not since Jacob seems like he still hates Edward.

Oh, and another thing that pissed me off.  The kiss scene with Jacob.  This is a very biased opinion, but I hated it.  As soon as she started enjoying it, I skimmed through until it was over.  And to make matters worse, Stephenie obviously can't bear to have anyone mad at Bella so she makes Edward perfectly okay with it.  Jealousy would've been cute for Edward you know!

And just as a warning, this is when Edward and Bella start to discuss taking their relationship a step further.  (If you know what I mean.)
